How We Select Homes

"The highest form of maturity is self inquiry." - Martin Luther King Jr

We consider orphanages that have been established for more than 2 years, can demonstrate a financial need and have goals in line with our mission. We contact the homes to explain our purpose and learn more about them. An application is sent to the home. Upon return, the application is reviewed and a final selection is made by the board of directors. If necessary additional correspondence may occur with the home.

The following are some, though not an exhaustive list, of the attributes we look for in each home:

  • Shared vision of providing proper care for orphans
  • Integrity
  • Dedicated administration
  • Defined short-term and long-term goals
